Liberally coat each piece of bacon with light brown sugar.
In a small bowl mix the seasoning ingredients together. Sprinkle bacon with seasoning mixture.
Starting at the thinnest end, roll the bacon from one end to the other with the meatier side at the top of the rose bud. Insert two toothpicks through the base of the rose bud, perpendicular to each other.
Bake in the air fryer basket at 400 degrees F for 10 minutes. Check at the 8 minute mark and adjust cooking time if needed.
Remove bacon roses from air fryer basket and allow to cool completely.
Place cooled roses on the tip of a faux rose stem or wood skewer.
If using silk flower stems, be sure to clean them prior to using.
Oven directions: preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Using a baking sheet with a wire rack, place the bacon roses on the rack, making sure they aren't touching. Bake for 20-30 minutes, until bacon is crispy. Allow to cool before proceeding.
