You have to try my favorite Cherry Cheese Danish recipe! They are super easy to make, only require 4 ingredients, and can be made in the air fryer and oven!
Place the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar in a medium mixing bowl. Mix until creamy. Set aside.
Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F.
Remove the crescent rolls from the canister(don’t unroll them). Cut each dough roll into 8 medallions.
Flatten each medallion into a 2-3” circle, leaving a raised rim around each circle.
Top with cream cheese mixture and then the cherry pie filling.
Spritz the air fryer basket with oil or use a parchment paper liner. Place Danishes in the basket, making sure they aren’t touching.
Cook for 6 minutes, until golden brown.
Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from the air fryer. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Substitute with other pie filling flavors.
Add a simple glaze or a dusting of powdered sugar after cooking, if desired.
For a larger Danish, cut each dough roll into 4-6 pieces and flatten into 3-4” pieces. You’ll need to cook a little longer.
Best served warm, but can be served cold or at room temperature if preferred.
Oven bake instructions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Prepare Danishes as instructed, placing on a parchment lined baking tray. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown. Allow to cool before eating.
