Homemade air fried sweet potato wedges are an easy side dish that's ready in under 30 minutes. Made with fresh sweet potatoes and a flavorful seasoning blend, pair it with your favorite dipping sauce and serve with any classic meal.
Clean the sweet potatoes and pat dry. Cut potatoes into wedges and place in a large mixing bowl.
Preheat air fryer to 380 degrees F.
Drizzle sweet potato wedges with olive oil.
Combine spices in a small bowl and sprinkle over potatoes. Toss to evenly coat.
Lightly grease the basket and add potato wedges, taking care not to crowd the basket so they’ll cook evenly.
Cook for 15-18 minutes, turning at the halfway point.
Notes
We prefer to leave the skins on but you can peel them if preferred.
Try to cut the wedges in similarly sized pieces for even cooking.
For crispy wedges, make sure to allow space in between the potatoes so air can circulate and they cook evenly. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer basket.
If cooking in batches: remove cooked potatoes from the basket and place on a baking sheet in a 220 degree F oven to keep warm. Continue cooking remaining wedges.
Best eaten fresh but cooled leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350 degrees F for 5 minutes. We don’t recommend using the microwave to reheat - they come out soggy.
